Our Mission
The Basement Bookstore is a non-profit initiative dedicated to sustaining our library and community programs through book sales, merchandise, and local crafts. Our goal is to create a long-lasting fundraising model that keeps us "Stacked for Success."
How It Works
We offer used books, custom merchandise, and crafts from local artists with suggested donation amounts. Your generous contributions help us maintain and grow our bookstore. Donations can be made via QR codes posted throughout the store.
Book Organization
Our books are categorized first by condition to help you find exactly what youβre looking for:
- Torn, Partial & Tattered - Well-loved books with missing pages or heavy wear.
- Gently Used - Lightly worn books in good condition.
- Rigid, Complete & Sturdy - Like-new books with little to no wear.
After condition, books are further categorized by audience and genre:
Audience
We organize books for Adults, Young Adults, and Children.
Genre
Books are sorted into Fiction and Nonfiction sections.
