The purpose of the Lamond-Riggs Library Friends is to:

  • Focus public attention on the Lamond-Riggs Library
  • Encourage use of the Library’s resources and services
  • Advocate for funding and staffing for the library
  • Encourage, promote and support Library programs within the community
  • Raise funds/other resources for materials that the Library needs but that are not provided by the Library System
  • Receive donations, gifts, endowments, and bequests for the benefit of the Library
  • Advocate on behalf of the Community for a library facility that meets current and future community needs
  • Support the freedom to read


The Lamond-Riggs Library Friends now accept donations in the amounts of $5, $10, $25, $50 or other.
