The Cleveland Park Library Friends is a non-profit, volunteer organization that advocates for and supports both the Cleveland Park Library and the District of Columbia Public Library System.

Who We Are

Our all volunteer group supports the Cleveland Park Library and the DC Public Library system by:

  • Advocating for the library
  • Raising funds to support library programs at Cleveland Park and citywide

  • DC Public Library's citywide Summer Reading Program
  • Children’s reading/crafts program
  • Refreshments for teen events
  • Weekly professional chess instruction for kids
  • Annual library staff recognition
  • “Tiny Bookshop” of used and donated books
